Great chiseled jaw and deep set eyes, this model was a pleasure to draw.  I tried turquoise accents.....I am not sure if they worked.

Self Portrait a la Vermeer

It wasn't until I finished this class assignment that I was struck how the pose looked like Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring".  Yes the light is coming from the opposite direction, but  I added the earring and see something of the much younger woman.

I hope my teacher approves.
