Bust of Diana 1882

This bust of Diana located in the Legion of Honor SF was sculpted in terra cotta by Jean-Alexandre Joseph Falguiere. My drawing is on gesso paper with coffee stains and green undertones. The figure is done in pastels.

The above prices are for one subject. Prices for two subjects in one painting are double the above prices. The commission process is explained here.

The canvas is painted on the sides and does not need framing. A hanging wire will be attached.

Your digital photos need to be crisp and best results are from photos that have light and shadow. I may manipulate the photo to achieve a composition that is balanced and interesting. Please allow 2- 3 weeks for the portrait to be painted. When it is complete, an additional 10 days of drying time will be needed before shipping.
